It means something to all of us - NSW Mining & Newcastle Knights 2018
There are dozens of Newcastle Knights players, past and present, that have a connection to NSW mining. Like Nathan Ross, who used to work underground. And Kurt Gidley and Matthew Gidley, whose Dad drove coal trains for years. Footy and work can both be tough. And sometimes you have to remind yourself why you do it. You do it for your family. You do it for your town. And everyone in it. And at the end of the day, it means something to all of us. That's why we're launching this new TV commercial. To demonstrate the contribution of our mining families and to celebrate the good things mining brings. Every team needs great supporters. Show your support using #voiceformining.

The Field Service Diesel Fitter: Luke's Story
After Luke Fleming completed Year 12 he started a career as a development coach for the Australian Rugby League and, following this, spent some years as a customs officer. His dream, however, had always been to have a career in the automotive industry. It was not until the age of 27 that Luke made the career switch to an Australian Apprenticeship, starting a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) with Hastings Deering. Since completing his Australian Apprenticeship, Luke is employed as a Field Service Diesel Fitter for the Hastings Deering Caterpillar dealership. He enjoys travelling to different parts of the Northern Territory to diagnose, correct and maintain heavy vehicle equipment. Luke was the winner of the 2012 NT Austin Ashe Apprentice of the Year Award and was a finalist the same year at the Australian Training Awards. CFMEU supports ETU & AMWU Members in CUB Dispute
A little over 2 weeks ago Carlton and United Breweries (CUB) sacked 50 maintenance workers and then offered them their jobs back - with 65% less pay! Today their unions - the Electrical Trades Union of Australia, Victorian Branch and AMWU - Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union - rallied outside CUB's head office to send the company the loud and clear message that this kind of corporate thuggery is unacceptable. Word from the company's Abbotsford brewery is that keg lines are failing in the absence of qualified, experienced maintenance workers. If this situation remains unresolved it is unlikely the company will be able to supply beer during the busy AFL finals season.

Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test Level 1
The Yo-Yo intermittent recovery tests have become some of the most extensively studied fitness tests in sports science and practice. Due to their specificity and practicality, the tests have been widely applied in many team sports to assess players`abilities to repeatedly perform high-intensity exercise (Bangsbo, Iaia & Krustrup, 2008). No.42: Seguin wins third gold, Australia dominate
With Australia topping the sport’s medals table at Rio 2016, France’s Damien Seguin taking his second Paralympic gold after 12 years and Canadian Paul Tingley winning his third medal, sailing left some memorable moments at September’s Paralympic Games. The competitions come in at No. 42 in the International Paralympic Committee’s (IPC) Top 50 Moments. The 2.4m Norlin OD one-person keelboat, the SKUD28 two-person keelboat and the Sonar three-person keelboat were the three classes contested at the beautiful Marina da Gloria, in the shadow of the Sugar Loaf and Corcovado mountains, in Rio. After 12 years, Frenchman Damien Seguin was crowned Paralympic champion again when he crossed the finish line in fourth place in the last race of the 2.4m Norlin OD. He finished ahead of Great Britain’s London 2012 champion Helena Lucas, the only sailor who could mathematically beat him. Seguin, who also won silver at Beijing 2008, was followed by Australia’s Matthew Bugg, who claimed silver thanks to a first place in the final race, demoting Lucas to third. “I am just happy as I have worked a lot since my fourth place in London 2012. I was sure I could do it, and I did,” said Seguin. “I am a competitor, so I always go for first place. My start to the regatta was not very good, but every day I improved my racing. I always say that the regatta is 11 races, not 10. And by the 11th race I got to first overall. “I have an association in France to encourage people with impairment to go sailing and they came to Rio this week. They were at the beach every day to support me. It was amazing.” Australia’s Daniel Fitzgibbon and Liesl Tesch were the overwhelming champions in the SKUD18 class, successfully defending their London 2012 title and confirming their status as the world’s best pair after winning two world titles in 2014 and 2015, and multiple World Cups together. They ended first in eight of the ten races to finish the regatta with only 12 points, far ahead of Canada’s Jackie Gay and John McRoberts, who claimed silver with 34. Great Britain’s Alexandra Rickham and Niki Birrell completed the podium with 36. “We can adapt to everything, we can deal with craziness and deal with instability and come out on top,” said Fitzgibbon. Tesch, who competed in wheelchair basketball over five Paralympic Games between 1992-2008, added: “It is a lovely reward for lots of hard work. The first gold gave me an incredible sense of satisfaction, after chasing it for 24 years...The second was more a joyful celebration of everything! “Rio 2016 was a hugely tough regatta, with incredibly testing conditions. But Daniel [Fitzgibbon] and I combined our training and experience to minimise errors and perform at our absolute best.” Colin Harrinson, Jonathan Harris and Russell Boaden added a second gold to Australia’s sailing medal haul in the Sonar, finishing first in the regatta with 26 points. There were followed by USA’s Rick Doerr, Hugh Freund and Brad Kendell (44) and Canada’s Paul Tingley, Scott Lutes and Logan Campbell (51). Fresh from becoming Paralympic champion, Harrinson said he was feeling: “Just elation. It has been a long time coming and it feels great to get there. There is a lot of emotion.” For Canada’s Tingley, it was his third time on the podium. The 46-year-old has been competing in the sport since its introduction to the Paralympic programme at Sydney 2000, where he took bronze in the Sonar. Tingley could not medal in Athens, Greece, in 2004 but switched to the 2.4m Norlin OD to claim his first and only Paralympic title at Beijing 2008. He could not defend the title in London finishing fifth. The Career Mode will enable fans to experience the excitement of the Toyota AFL Premiership Season from both sides of the fence. AFL Evolution takes gamers beyond the field of play allowing them to manage the team via the drafting and trading of players, the salary cap, training, the tribunal and much more. The Career Mode elevates the experience to another level once fans are ready to take the field. Help support CIYL's growth around the globe and become a patron of the arts today at: https://www.patreon.com/colourinyourlife https://www.youtube.com/c/ColourinyourlifeAu New fine art TV show episodes loaded every Wednesday AEST. https://www.facebook.com/PutSomeColourInYourLife/ https://www.colourinyourlife.com.au/ Fine Art TV Series - Colour In Your Life Season - 02 Episode - 06 Filmed on Location at - Sydney, NSW, Australia Kerry Thompson an Artist who understands the meanings of Joy colour and life. Kerry was originally a vet and then went onto cartooning and illustrating books. She has a wonderful Philosophy towards life and exudes a great personal energy. Based in Tasmania, Kerry began painting with acrylics several years ago in order to explore, experiment, and throw out all of the "shoulds" to see what happened. Her work can be found at regular exhibitions. Her actual temporary gallery, the Little Firefly, pops up from time to time in different locations. In 1973, after studying zoology in Toronto, Kerry ventured to Australia with a guitar and a backpack, got a shock eating Vegemite and became Kerry Millard, a rural veterinarian. Seven moves and a baby or two later saw her reach Sydney in 1984 where she gave birth again and became an Australian. Not having quite enough excitement with three kids under four she brought home a wacky dog and ended up taking him to a dog training club to help him get his act together. She drew some cartoons for their newsletter which people seemed to like, and accidentally fell into being an award-winning cartoonist drawing for publications including The Sydney Morning Herald and Medical Observer, and twice being voted Best Single Gag Cartoon Artist by the Australian Cartoonists' Association. Kerry's paintings have been described as joyful, whimsical, full of life and energy, colourful, honest, and thought provoking. Each piece is a moment captured from her life in a bold and refreshing exploration. Her trademark is colour and invention, her gift is to distill subjects down to their simplest essence, in an almost childlike manner. "I use the emotions evoked by colours and their relationships as my tools when creating a work. My approach could be called “mad scientist at preschool” where an insatiable curiosity and interest in exploration and discovery meet a deliberate abandonment to respond to the process itself and the work as it unfolds, turning rules, methods, and even canvases upside down." - Kerry Thompson You can contact the artist about their art tips or art techniques directly via their website http://www.kerrythompsonsgallery.com/ The Colour In Your Life TV series is an art show that takes you into the everyday studios of artists from around the world. Broncos edge out Bulldogs in controversial finish
Broncos edge out Bulldogs in controversial finish: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-05-03/nrl-scorecentre-broncos-beat-bulldogs/9722774?section=sport. Thanks for watching, subscribe for more videos. Brisbane Broncos edge out Canterbury Bulldogs in controversial NRL finish Brisbane has scored a contentious 22-20 victory over Canterbury after Bulldog Moses Mbye was sent to the sin-bin in the dying stages of Thursday night's thriller at Lang Park. The Broncos had clawed their way back from a 14-6 deficit at the break and clinched the match with a debatable penalty goal on full-time.Jamayne Isaako kicked the winning penalty in front of 22,225 spectators after Mbye was dubiously sin-binned for a professional foul on opposite number Darius Boyd as he tried to pounce on a kick to score. As Boyd chased through on a kick with the ball bouncing into the in-goal area, Mbye made contact with the Broncos skipper as he prepared to dive.Boyd could not reach the ball before it was shepherded across the dead-ball line by Bulldogs centre Will Hopoate, but Mbye was given his marching orders, allowing Isaako to land the penalty attempt from the left of the posts. Earlier, a brutal reality check was handed to boom prop Payne Haas by Bulldogs milestone man David Klemmer.Backing up from last round's dream debut, the 19-year-old Haas lasted just six minutes off the bench before being concussed in a monster tackle by Klemmer. External Link: Broncos v Bulldogs summary Klemmer seemed to want to make a point in his 100th game after Haas' stunning arrival last week, zeroing in on the hulking Broncos teenager as soon he came on the field in the 50th minute. The Bulldogs enforcer delivered a crunching tackle to greet Haas but the damage was done the second time they met.Klemmer hit Haas with everything in a bone rattling 56th-minute effort, leaving the youngster dazed. External Link: Broncos v Bulldogs chalkboard Haas was unsteady on his feet after somehow playing the ball and had to be assisted by Bulldogs forward Raymond Faitala-Mariner and Brisbane team-mate Andrew McCullough before being taken off.Desperate to spark the side after four losses in five games, Bulldogs coach Dean Pay had rolled the dice at the selection table. In sweeping changes, Pay replaced hooker Michael Lichaa with Jeremy Marshall-King, slotted Matt Frawley into pivot, promoted Danny Fualalo to starting prop at the expense of Klemmer and handed PNG international Rhyse Martin his NRL debut on the bench. External Link: Broncos v Bulldogs stats And it seemed to work with the Bulldogs leading by eight points at half-time after Martin scored with his first touch in the fifth minute.Canterbury delivered a body blow before half-time when Boyd slipped and Marcelo Montoya regathered a Kieran Foran kick to set up Frawley to score in the 38th minute. But Brisbane locked up the scores 20-20 after bench forward Joe Ofahengaue ran off James Roberts and steamrolled Martin to score in the 75th minute.AAP/ABC

My life is about fitness and travel adventure and I want to continue inspiring the world through creating videos to help inspire you to live an amazing life. Many people that have watched my videos will often say "Brad, you have an amazing life!" - and the truth is... Yes! But, I was once a very sick, out-of-shape guy that spent a lot of time in hospital from chest infections and illnesses and coming from a very lonely and broken family with no siblings. In June 2016, I started vlogging my fitness journey of getting into the best shape possible to compete in my first amateur bodybuilding competition in March 2017. I won the competition! Wow...!! I came from nothing! I became obsessed with creating fitness video courses on Udemy and Skillshare showing people how they can get into shape the same way I did. This "new life" of mine has allowed me to have the energy to create travel adventure videos and more fitness vlogs to inspire more people to get out and see the world :-)
