What are Blockchain Confirmations? Understand Blockchain Technology

01:16
What are Blockchain Confirmations? Blockchain Confirmations are important to understand as they can help you know how confident you can be in any given blockchain transaction. When a transaction is broadcast to the blockchain, it has zero confirmations. Once a transaction has been added to a block, it is said to be “confirmed” This means that the transaction has been given a permanent place on the blockchain, and everybody can see it. The number of confirmations is the number of blocks that have been added to the blockchain after a transaction is confirmed. For example, if a transaction is in one block, it has 1 confirmation. If it is in 2 blocks, it has two confirmations and so on. The more confirmations a transaction has, the harder it is to reverse. Most exchanges require a minimum of 3 confirmations. The larger the transactions, the more confirmations are recommended. For transactions of over $1 million dollars, for example, people may wait for up to 60 confirmations. Confirmations are a way the cryptocurrencies have created a safe and immutable transaction record to build the future of digital finance. Bitcoin Q&A: Fee markets, SegWit, and scaling

07:52
"High" transaction fees and the future feasibility of micro-transactions. Transaction costs represent inherent real-life constraints on scalability and resource availability in the network. It costs money to host fully validating nodes. There is no such thing as a free lunch. Bitcoin was able to achieve zero-fee transactions because the cost was subsidised by the mining reward and bitcoin's value increasing at a faster rate than resources were being consumed. It is not because of the block size limit; as you scale up, the amount of competition for space will also grow. We will see increases in the block size eventually, and add second-layer systems like Lightning Network. Bitcoin is a dynamic and evolving system and the rate of innovation has exploded over the last few years. Appointing third parties to determine which transactions are "spam" opens up opportunities for censorship. Sufficient fee is a market-based mechanism. Even if your transaction doesn't have sufficient fee at the time, it could still be confirmed later when there is less demand for the network. Transaction malleability. Segregated Witness is the best scaling that exists right now. For many miners, it represents a potential loss of profit but only if they're not willing to evolve their software and participate in payment channels. If we choose not to expand the scale of the network, that doesn't mean Bitcoin stops working; it means that Bitcoin will specialise in high-value, global, secure transactions. Nobody gets to decide what Bitcoin and we don't know what it will become. The recipe has been replicated in other cryptocurrencies, and that's how a market should work -- allowing the full forces of evolution and specialisation to operate. Lightning Strikes! Why Bitcoin is STILL a Bubble

19:18
Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency space as a whole has had a rough March. Bitcoin has fallen from above $11k to around $8k while altcoins have bled even worse as Bitcoin dominance rises. Steemit Post: https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@cryptovestor/lightning-strikes-why-bitcoin-is-still-a-bubble As always, we're all looking for reasons why the market has fallen but I wanted to issue a key reminder that I (emphasis on I) still view Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies as a bubble. Very few of them fulfill the lofty goals people have set for them, with Bitcoin in particular hardly being used as a payment mechanism because of: 1) Security concerns with holding private keys 2) Immutability is a double-edged sword: Returns are a pain and mistakes can't be rectified 3) The UI is awful if you can't use payment request QR codes 4) The fees are volatile 5) While payments may settle quicker than traditional systems when the network isn't under heavy load, the fact there are no "takebacks" or ways to "correct" a mistake after settlement means that it is inconvenient for merchants to accept zero confirmation transactions 6) Price is volatile 7) etc. As a result, most merchants just use processors like Bitpay which instantly convert Bitcoin into USD, which in that case, is it really accepting Bitcoin anymore? It's just another method for accepting USD. Several of these arguments hold up for all other cryptocurrencies as well, even if some solve the issues of speed of settlement and fees. Even for cryptoassets that aim to be platforms, like Ethereum, generally offer almost no decentralized applications that have any real use. It's also worth noting that decentralization is really not well-fit for mass adoption - Normal people NEED customer support and ways to fix mistakes, which truly decentralized projects can't offer reasonably. The point isn't that blockchain technology isn't meaningful or useful, just that these cryptoassets aren't worth even remotely close to what they are being priced as today - so price doesn't need a whole lot of reason to fall for those who feel convinced for certain that the space is undervalued. As for some catalysts that COULD be contributing to prices coming down, we discuss: 1) Mt. Gox trustee fears 2) Google Ad Ban 3) US Congressional Hearing on ICOs On the positive side, we discuss the first live beta implentation of Lightning by Lightning Labs. I'm super excited to see how it behaves in practice. Based on the amount of nodes we had using Lightning prior to this, it should be interesting to see what developers do now with the Lightning Lab implementation. It's unfortunate that this news is overshadowed by price action (and yes, I am aware that I am contributing to that), but I encourage everyone to keep a close eye on what occurs on the main net and what developers have to say. What are your thoughts on the market? I'd love to hear them - Thank you for watching / reading! ================ If you like my content, you can support me through using ANY of the affiliate links below (I receive small compensation). The beauty of affiliate links is that I can pick and choose what I like rather than have companies approach me - everything I linked below (with the exception of Trezor since I like Ledger), I use myself frequently. ================ My Recommended Hardware Wallets: If you want to store your cryptocurrencies safely, the best way is through a hardware wallet. Seriously - look it up and you'll find plenty of information supporting this claim. There are alternatives such as paper wallets, but these are convenient and my choice for cold storage (offline): Ledger Nano S: http://amzn.to/2hZPj0q Trezor: http://amzn.to/2AxD9TN Ledger Blue (expensive): http://amzn.to/2hk7xst I personally prefer the Ledger Nano S, but the Trezor is such a close second that it really doesn't matter which one you go with. ================ My Favorite Book for Investing in Crypto: Cryptoassets: http://amzn.to/2zKDdCF ================ My Recommended Exchanges: Coinbase / GDAX / Bittrex https://www.coinbase.com/join/5a08b12e305a1401d79d10e0 If you sign up to Coinbase using link above, you and I will both receive $10 each after you buy your first $100 of Bitcoin using Coinbase. Coinbase is much less intimidating for beginners. Once ready, move up to GDAX for cheaper or zero fees. For altcoins, I recommend Bittrex. ================ Legal Stuff: I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. NEXTY| Nexty Review: Nexty - Blockchain Platform for Ecommcerce

03:22
NEXTY| Nexty Review: Nexty - Blockchain Platform for Ecommcerce Website ➤ http://nexty.io Contacts ➤ [email protected] Nexty Platform Instant transfer with no charge ? Jokes are like jokes. But this is not true. Nexty is an ecosystem of Fintech that helps e-commerce and startup technology to raise funds from the community. Nexty itself has a code named NTY with various superior features such as Instant Transfer, Zero Transfer Fees, Dual Currency Stabilization and Crypto System. One of the highlights of Nexty compared to other cryptographic cores is the high transaction speed, which takes just 2 seconds for a transaction, almost reaching real time. So, Why can Nexty do this ? That’s because Nexty is an open source code on the ethereum platform and has a Dual Cryptocurrency Confirmation System. Nexty solves the problem of time and transaction costs by inventing the Duo Cryptocurrency Confirmation System. With the Duo Cryptocurrency Confirmation System, all transactions will be transferred in near-instant (only delayed due to Internet connection) at no cost. Nexty has five important elements of the future payment system: Fast Low fees Commitment to privacy & confidentiality Simple to use Low volatility I think the next three different things to invest in compared to other currencies are: Transaction speed: (real time) Transfer fee: Zero Price fluctuation: Transfer Fees Price Stabilization System With anticipate as a means of future installment, Nexty might bolster organizations of all sizes and degrees to overcome boundaries of exchanging. With zero transfer fees and fast transaction times, this is something that no one can do and can not be achieved by using traditional banking services. This is the greatest in this ecosystem. One feature that helps stabilize prices is that smartstaking is a smart way for investors to increase profits and stabilize the price of copper. Investors only need to keep their wallets and computer shutdowns, no need to go online, while they can still benefit from Nextycoin’s smartstaking passive income generation system. Practical implementation: The practical applicability of this platform is high due to its superiority over other currencies: fast transaction, zero transfer fee. There is mobile application, high mobility, easy to use for transfer. Payment, bill payment, good user experience. Among them, there are various of new companies utilizing Nexty’s own particular token framework to call for capital since they can exploit the current framework with the unrivaled highlights that Nexty has. On social media: Of course, they have a social media presence.. This is because of the team members who have 12 years of experience in marketing. They have the same social networking channels as I mentioned above, interacting directly with the investors. They also have relatively large campaign bonuses to promote to investors. Summary: A payment method of the future will be completely different from the traditional. No cash, no transaction fees, instant cash transfers, you can pay anywhere, anytime, anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection. With the existing technology platform nexty will help businesses break the barriers of trading, create a flat world without borders in economic activities, foreign trade and import. Recent governments have been making positive moves with digital money. The era of digital money is approaching, the problem is only the time. The future of Nexty Ecosystem in particular is approaching.

Start2Bitcoin: What is Bitcoin

07:46
Definitely visit Start2Bitcoin.org for more content and information ------------------------------------------------------------------- In this video you will learn what Bitcoin is and why it is so radical different from our current financial system. Bitcoin is such a revolutionary technology because it’s both. Bitcoin is a currency and a payment network. A currency is like the Dollars or Euro’s. Visa, MasterCard or Paypal are examples of payment networks. They use for example the Dollar as currency on their payment network. Bitcoin is both, that makes it so different from previous networks. So what is it? We know its a digital currency, so there are no physical Bitcoins like we have our physical dollar bills. Let’s break it down in 7 properties: 1. No central authority: The system is democratic, meaning that everyone in the network has a vote to decide and a choice in which truth he or she believes. Now and than there are discussions in the network and a decision has to be made. There are always people who think they are in charge, but sooner or later he comes to the conclusion, this wasn’t the case and finds himself on other side of the spectrum with no one behind him. No central authority that ensures decisions are made, also means a far less efficient system. Think of how decisions are made in your country. In my home country, Belgium, the chamber of representatives has to have 50% of the votes + 1 vote to pass a new law. In Bitcoin, we need 95% of the votes to form a consensus. You can image decisions are extremely slow and this proces is highly inefficient. Efficiency is the price we pay for a democracy. In case of money, an absolute democracy is fundamental because money means power. We have seen in our previous video’s that governments can print more money to fund wars or projects they desire and not always in the interest of it’s citizens. 2. Bitcoin is peer to peer, instant like cash: Why is it sometimes so difficult to do a transaction? Why can’t you just make a transaction like sending an email or text message? Especially when you’re doing cross border payments. I took this picture when visiting a shoppingmall in Singapore. I thought, this is unbelievable. This picture shows 5 digital ways to pay for your products. How scattered is this industry? Bitcoin has the advantages of cash, meaning when I pay someone in cash we don’t need a third person to confirm the transaction like we have with credit cards. This is because both parties have faith in the currency and payment network that we have used. The transaction happened immediately and the receiver doesn’t have to wait till the bank confirms the transaction. And it’s cheaper than using credit or debit cards. The disadvantages of cash are for instance that people have to be physical at the same location to transact. In case of e-commerce, this isn’t possible. Another disadvantage is when you want to transport your wealth to another state, you have to carry a lot of cash. Which is dangerous for theft and can be confiscated due to regulations. In Bitcoin, transactions are happening immediately and the receiver can confirm in a few seconds he received the funds with absolute certainty. Through scaling solutions which I will explain later, the cost of doing a Bitcoin transaction will be close to zero. 3. It’s also borderless: Bitcoin hasn’t got a physical location, it are servers running on thousands of computers worldwide. It’s like storing your data in the “cloud”. When crossing borders, nobody can confiscate your money because you aren’t transporting any money. This can be helpful for people that are fleeing out of their country because of corruption or war. Because Bitcoin isn’t physical money, theft is also much harder. 4. It’s censorship resistant: For example in 2010, the US government decided to put pressure on Paypal and other payment providers to block payments that were meant for Wikileaks, because of obvious reasons. Some accounts were frozen and as a result you couldn’t gain acces to your own money. With Bitcoin, the government can’t put pressure on anybody because there is no central authority or location. The same example happend when protesters in Ukraine showed a sign to ask for donations to help fund their revolution. 5. It’s immutable: ... The concept of Proof of Work provides this magic, not the blockchain. I will discuss this in more detail in level 3. 6. Accesible for everyone: ... 7. Innovation through open-source software: ... Thanks for watching. In the next video you will learn the history of Bitcoin. Did you know that Bitcoin was a creation of different concepts that were invented years ago? In the meantime, should you have any questions, just give me a shout. https://www.start2bitcoin.org/contact

What is Litecoin? Explained in 90 seconds

01:42
What is Litecoin? And how is Litecoin different from Bitcoin? Litecoin (LTC or Ł) is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency and open source software project released under the MIT/X11 license. Creation and transfer of coins is based on an open source cryptographic protocol and is not managed by any central authority. While inspired by, and in most regards technically nearly identical to Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin has some technical improvements over Bitcoin, and most other major cryptocurrencies, such as the adoption of Segregated Witness, and the Lightning Network. These effectively allow a greater amount of transactions to be processed by the network in a given time, reducing potential bottlenecks, as seen with Bitcoin. Litecoin also has almost zero payment cost and facilitates payments approximately four times faster than Bitcoin. Litecoin was released via an open-source client on GitHub on October 7, 2011 by Charlie Lee, a former Google employee. It was a fork of the Bitcoin Core client, differing primarily by having a decreased block generation time (2.5 minutes), increased maximum number of coins, different hashing algorithm (scrypt, instead of SHA-256), and a slightly modified GUI. In May 2017, Litecoin became the first of the top-5 (by market cap) cryptocurrencies to adopt Segregated Witness.[13] Later in May of the same year, the first Lightning Network transaction was completed through litecoin, transferring 0.00000001 LTC from Zurich to San Francisco in under one second. What is difference between Litecoin and Bitcoin? Litecoin offers mainly three differences from Bitcoin. 1) The Litecoin Network aims to process a block every 2.5 minutes, rather than Bitcoin's 10 minutes, which its developers claim allows for faster transaction confirmation.[2][15] A drawback is a higher probability of orphaned blocks. Advantages can include greater resistance to a double spending attack over the same period as Bitcoin. However, total work done is a consideration. For example, if the Litecoin Network has comparatively ten times less computing work done per block than the Bitcoin network, the Bitcoin confirmation is around ten times harder to reverse, even though the Litecoin Network is likely to add confirmation blocks at a rate four times faster. 2) Litecoin uses scrypt in its proof-of-work algorithm, a sequential memory-hard function requiring asymptotically more memory than an algorithm which is not memory-hard.[16] 3) The Litecoin Network will produce 84 million Litecoins, or four times as many currency units as will be issued by the Bitcoin Network. The original intended purpose of using Scrypt was to allow miners to mine both Bitcoin and Litecoin at the same time. The choice to use scrypt was also partially to avoid giving advantage to video card (GPU), FPGA and ASIC miners over CPU miners. Due to Litecoin's use of the scrypt algorithm, FPGA and ASIC devices made for mining Litecoin are more complicated to create and more expensive to produce than they are for Bitcoin, which uses SHA-256.[17] This is widely due to the Scrypt hashing scheme being more memory intensive; increasing memory requirements for ASICs and FPGAs. litecoin uses | litecoin pool | litecoin segwit | litecoin vs bitcoin | Should you invest in Litecoin? IOTA tutorial 10: Transaction and Bundle

21:01
If you like this video and want to support me, go this page for my donation crypto addresses: https://www.youtube.com/c/mobilefish/about This is part 10 of the IOTA tutorial. In this video series different topics will be explained which will help you to understand IOTA. It is recommended to watch each video sequentially as I may refer to certain IOTA topics explained earlier. The squares in the Tangle represents transactions and each NEW transaction should reference transactions which have no other transactions referencing them. These non referenced transactions are called tips (tip 0 and tip 1). Each transaction consists of a bundle of transactions. An example of an IOTA transaction where 3 IOTA’s are transferred from Alice's address to Bob's address: https://www.mobilefish.com/download/iota/transactions_in_bundle_example1.txt A transaction consists of a bundle of transactions: currentIndex 0 refers to transaction 0, currentIndex 1 refers to transaction 1, etc.. All these transactions have the same bundle hash. All transactions in the same bundle should be treated as an atomic unit. It means that either all transactions of a bundle are confirmed, or none of them are confirmed. Every transaction in the bundle requires it own PoW, see the different nonces in the transactions. There can be 3 different types of transactions inside a bundle: - Output transactions Transactions where IOTA’s are send to one or multiple addresses. The IOTA light wallet can only send to one address. These transactions are easily recognised because the transaction value is always greater than 0 and the address does not belong the sender. - Input transactions There are two types of input transactions: * Input transactions where the value is negative. These are the transactions where the complete balance from that address is spent. * Input transactions where the value is greater than 0. These are the transactions where unspent/not used IOTA’s are send to a new change address in the senders wallet. - Meta transactions Zero value transactions are meta transactions. The signatureMessageFragment of these transactions could either hold a signature or a message fragment. Transaction examples: https://www.mobilefish.com/download/iota/transactions_in_bundle_example1.txt https://www.mobilefish.com/download/iota/transactions_in_bundle_example2.txt https://www.mobilefish.com/download/iota/transactions_in_bundle_example3.txt https://www.mobilefish.com/download/iota/transactions_in_bundle_example5.txt By increasing the security level you increase the key size, meaning you increase the private key size. Depending on the key size, this signature is fragmented and stored in 1, 2 or 3 transactions. Wallet 1, using security level 1, the signature is stored in 1 transaction: https://www.mobilefish.com/download/iota/transactions_in_bundle_security_level1.txt Wallet 2, using security level 2, the signature is fragmented and stored in 2 transactions: https://www.mobilefish.com/download/iota/transactions_in_bundle_security_level2.txt Wallet 3, using security level 3, the signature is fragmented and stored in 3 transactions: https://www.mobilefish.com/download/iota/transactions_in_bundle_security_level3.txt By increasing the security level you increase the signature size and thus the number of transactions needed to store the signature. IOTA signatures are larger than Bitcoin signatures due to IOTA's use of Winternitz one-time signatures to gain quantum resistance. Each single transaction inside a bundle consists of 2673 trytes and much of it is taken by the signatureMessageFragment which has a size of 2187 trytes (approx 82%). A single transaction inside a bundle requires 2673 trytes or ~1.55 kBytes. A bundle can have one transaction, for example when you attach an address to the Tangle. A bundle can have an X number of transactions. For example: Alice has a wallet (using security level 2) with address 0 to address 99 with each address having one IOTA. When Alice transfers her complete wallet balance to Bob, she creates a transaction bundle containing 201 transactions: 1 transaction to Bob, 100 transactions withdrawing 1 IOTA from each address and 100 meta transactions to store the second signature fragment. Each transaction inside the bundle requires a PoW. Let assume a PoW takes 20 seconds per transaction. Please note: This 20 sec is arbitrary chosen! In this example the total time to create the bundle, takes: 201 transactions x 20 sec / tx = 67 minutes. You can easily create a transaction bundle containing lots of transactions. However watch out for the Proof of Work. NANO / RAIBLOCKS IS BETTER THAN BITCOIN? HOW NANO WORK - BUY NANO COIN

Where to buy Nano / Raiblocks (XRB coin)? KuCoin https://www.kucoin.com/#/?r=E3fCxC Steps: 1) Buy bitcoins from Coinbase using my link and get $10 in bitcoins free https://www.coinbase.com/join/557472fc910d9c4448000157 2) Register on KuCoin https://www.kucoin.com/#/?r=E3fCxC 3) Transfer Coinbase's BTC to Kucoin's BTC address and buy XRB https://www.kucoin.com/#/trade.pro/XRB-BTC What is Nano / Raiblocks? RaiBlocks is a trustless, low-latency cryptocurrency that utilizes a novel block-lattice architecture, where each account has its own blockchain and achieves consensus via delegated Proof ofStake voting. How does RaiBlocks work? Unlike conventional blockchains used in many other cryptocurrencies, RaiBlocks uses a block-lattice structure. Each account has its own blockchain (account-chain), equivalent to the account's transaction/balance history. Each account-chain can only be updated by the account's owner; this allows each account-chain to be updated immediately and asynchronously to the rest of the block-lattice, resulting in quick transactions. Since blocks can only be added by each account-chain's owner, transferring funds from one account to another requires two transactions:a send transaction deducting the amount from the sender's balance and a receive transaction adding the amount to the receiving account's balance. The receive transaction can be performed at any time; the recipient does not need to be online during the send transaction __ Music credits: Luvly by Joakim Karud http://youtube.com/joakimkarud Music provided by Music for Creators https://youtu.be/SqlacdmRRyY

Bitcoin Cash Development video meeting #3 - January 31, 2019 - 23:00 UTC

28:23
The third Bitcoin Cash Development video meeting for 2019 took place on January 31st at 23:00 UTC. Participants: Amaury Séchet, Jason B. Cox, Antony Zegers, Chris Pacia, Mark Lundeberg, Emil Oldenburg Host: David R Allen Goal of Meeting: Coordinate work on items for the May upgrade to maximize chances of successful inclusion. Agenda 1 - Timeline: Explain and clarify ABC release schedule (Jason). We expect 0.18.8 to be released on Feb 11th, then cutoff for Upgrade items is the 15th. This means that the time is now to include the upgrade items, waiting until after 0.18.8 will be too late. 2 - Null Dummy - Report from Dagur on how this is progressing. Are there any roadblocks, or issues that others can help with. 3 - Minimal Data - Discussion on the approach to take for this. Will it simply be enforcing the "VERIFYMINIMALDATA" flag (applies to all executed scripts)? Or will it apply to ScriptSig only, as BIP62 is worded? Will it apply to number encodings as well as data pushes? 4 - Schnorr - Report from Mark Lundeberg and Amaury Sechet on their Diffs and how this item is progressing. Also ask if there is anything that others can help with to progress this item and maximize the chances of it being ready. 5 - 100-byte Transaction Size. Report from Andrea Suisani on how this is going. 6 - Ask participants for any additional topics that may have been overlooked or missed. Confirm that "more basic opcodes" is not on track for this upgrade. We do not offer promotional or advertising services. Our content is based on our own research, analysis and personal opinion. _______________________________________ What is IOTA? IOTA is a public distributed ledger that utilizes an invention called the Tangle at its core. The tangle is a new type of distributed ledger based on a DAG. The IOTA protocol aims to enable this machine economy by enabling feeless machine-to-machine payments and provide a scaling solution for the upcoming growth of the IoT. _______________________________________ Token Economics IOTA is the native token of the IOTA protocol and has a fixed supply. Sending IOTA will never require a transaction fee, and the token is designed for use as a payment network between machines on the Internet of Things. The Tangle provides the means for IOTA to act as a better micro-payment currency than blockchain based assets such as Bitcoin. _______________________________________ Strengths - The Tangle is an innovative new technology that allows for global feeless payments, meaning IOTA is well-equipped for micropayments and machine-to-machine value transfers on the IoT. - IOTA has no inflation and will have a fixed supply forever. This is beneficial for long term token holders from a token value perspective. - The IOTA protocol is designed such that scalability increases as more transactions occur on the network. - The biggest partnership IOTA has is with Volkswagen. This is a validation to IOTA’s technology. - IOTA’s crowdsale raised a reasonable amount of money at $500,000. They did not have large pre-sale bonuses and did not allocate any tokens for the team. The crowdsale was performed in a fair manner that incentivized community building over profit. _______________________________________ Weaknesses - Unlike blockchain-based systems such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, the difficulty of proof of work is not adaptive on the IOTA network. - IOTA co-founder Ivancheglo claimed that a flaw in their curl hash function was deliberate and designed a “copy protection” to prevent projects from copying them. This was a hostile act towards the open-source community, and implied that IOTA was not willing to make their real codebase freely available for the advancement of the technology. - IOTA’s goal to serve as a machine-to-machine payment network means that there will be a high velocity of money on the network. This could hurt the value of IOTA as a long-term investment because the currency will act less as a store of value. - Leaked transcripts from August 2018 uncovered an internal fallout which may highlight the potential for future issues within the IOTA Foundation. - Side Tangles, also known as parasite chains, have previously impacted the confirmation rate of IOTA transactions. These parasite chains are the result of a spammer using modified software to select tips that only reference themselves, and have brought the IOTA confirmation rate as low as 6%. - The protocol uses a numeral system called balanced ternary. IOTA is built to run on existing hardware and communication networks, which all use the binary system. _______________________________________ Disclaimer The information in this video is for educational purposes only and is not investment advice. This market trading analysis applies to various exchanges, including Bitmex and Binance. Tackling questions like if Bitcoin can reach 20k again and if we will be seeing a crypto currency market recovery this year. Things like the lightning network have provided huge improvements for BTC and while it is true that others like Roger Ver with Bitcoin Cash (bcash) may disagree, I do see these blockchain technology innovations to be very bullish fundamental signs for the space. https://t.me/forfliesgold To join VIP, click on my name (@Forflies) at the bottom of Telegram posts and message me. Will EOS Be the End of Ethereum?!?! 10 Facts About EOS

15:37
What is EOS? EOS is blockchain based software & a platform created to support decentralized apps (aka dapps) that runs on delegated proof-of-stake consensus algorithm & was created by Dan Larimer. When observed through this over-simplified definition, EOS may bear a resemblance to Ethereum. But there are a few key differences. Whereas Ethereum can be somewhat viewed as a global computer, EOS.io is more similar to a global operating system. EOS provides databases, accounts, authentication, asynchronous communication, and the scheduling of applications across numerous CPU cores or clusters. Through its ownership model, EOS effectively eliminates transaction fees while boasting a potential throughput of millions of transactions per second. The technological basis for its creation comes from past proven ventures such as blockchain social platform Steemit and BitShares, a decentralized asset exchange. EOS co-founder, Daniel Larimer designed the graphene blockchain technology that powers both Steemit and BitShares. He also created the Delegated Proof of Stake algorithm that lies at the heart of EOS. The backbone of EOS’ nimble construct is its Delegated Proof-of-Stake (or DPos) consensus algorithm, which is tailor-fitted to meet the performance challenges required by dapps on the blockchain. 21 nodes (also known as witnesses) are elected through voting preference by token holders, and they're the only ones that can produce blocks. The EOS software enables these witnesses to create blocks every half second. Blocks are generated in rounds of 126 (or 6 blocks times 21 producers). Forks are unlikely to take place with DPoS, as block production is encouraged to be more of a cooperative process than a competitive one. DPoS in EOS comes with an added asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerance algorithm, which ensures the 100% confirmation of irreversibility within 1 second. The developers’ description of the EOS software highlights that it enables the vertical and horizontal scaling of decentralized applications. EOS relies on Graphene technologyThe open-source EOS software is scheduled for release in June of 2018, and even though it'll run single threaded, it'll allegedly include the necessary data structures for future parallel execution. Asynchronous communication and parallel execution are key features to ensuring EOS’ infinite-scaling potential. Users won’t have to go through the process again once a block is irreversibly added to the blockchain. EOS.io users will be able to selectively run applications they need, and configure nodes to process data they want. It therefore wouldn’t be necessary to run social media apps if the desired process is to run an exchange. Operational maintenance of the blockchain doesn’t require the participation of every node. An added flexibility feature comes from the DPoS consensus mechanism. EOS.io has also been designed with inter-chain communication in mind, and this, in short, is achieved by facilitating the generation process for proof-of-action existence and proof-of-action sequence. EOS.io will include self-describing database schemas and self-describing interfaces, meaning blockchain data will be human-readable. It'll also support many of the known programming languages such as Rust, Solidity, and C++. It uses a declarative permission scheme that enables a finely-tuned delegation of permission across accounts. Its power becomes real on a launched blockchain that integrates with the EOS.IO software. The company currently building the EOS software has stated that it has no intention of launching any public blockchain adopting said software after its open-source release. The distinction between “software” and “platform” has been very stressed upon. EOS.IO is the software currently under development, while the EOS Platform will be used to refer to the blockchain that adopts it. On a launched blockchain using the EOS software, the EOS token was designed to follow an ownership model instead of a “rental” model, which effectively eliminates transaction fees. This model gives EOS token holders access to the network’s storage, bandwidth, and processing power proportional to the stake they hold. Increasing the volume of available network resources is achieved by purchasing more EOS tokens. This enables developers to gradually scale up their applications while also receiving reliable bandwidth and computing power. Aside from the initial purchase of EOS tokens, zero transactions fees means no network development cost. EOS tokens also constitute a tool used in the voting process that decides which nodes will become block producers. It’s necessary to become an EOS token holder in order to obtain voting rights. Buy Bitcoin Bearish Bitcoin Put Up or Shut Up

Hey everybody Dave Bartosiak with Trending Stocks at Zacks.com. Shhh. You hear that? No. You can’t. Because I can’t hear anything other than people talking bitcoin. Market at all-time highs? Have you seen bitcoin? Tax cuts pass? Yeah but my brother has an Ethereum farm in Indiana. Canadian weed stocks on the run? Sure, but don’t you think bitcoin cash will surpass bitcoin due to smaller block sizes and lower fees. Look man, I know bitcoin is fun to talk about. And you disenfranchised millennials have a thing for taking down the existing social hierarchy that has locked you out of your dream job as an astronaut rock star race car driver that moonlights as a fireman. Yes, Reddit obviously makes you smarter than everyone else. Cryptocurrencies are the millennial 401k so take your fiat currency and shove it. Don’t you old guys start giggling yet because I’ve got a fistful of salt for you too so pucker up. Staring up at the clouds, shaking your fists and yelling at bitcoin. Bitterly calling it a Ponzi scheme and the biggest bubble since Tulip Mania. Ain’t that the pot calling the kettle black. You had the dot com bubble, the real estate boom, and now a QE fueled rally off the bottom, yet, you have the nerve to talk garbage about crypto. It’s not backed by anything? No, it’s just backed by the millions of nodes in the blockchain. Talking about, “You can have blockchain without crypto.” Sure, if you ignore the definition of blockchain and replace it with the word database. Ignore the independent confirmation of transactions by third parties compensated for accuracy. There is a certain mania developing here, but perhaps it’s not in the underlying cryptocurrencies. It’s in this new phenomenon where you just add “blockchain” to your name and your stock rockets up 1,000%. RIOT, used to be a company called Bioptix, now Riot Blockchain. Long Island Tea company decided Strong Island Iced Tea wasn’t a good idea, decided instead to be called Long Island Blockchain. Longfin announced they bought Ziddu.com, a company that uses the blockchain for micro-lending. These companies have added more than 1,ooo% in some cases. Heck, I’m gonna get in on this action. Did you know that Bartosiak doesn’t mean incredibly handsome in Polish? Nope. Bartosiak is actually Polish for Blockchain. My name is really Dave Blockchain. Hello, payroll department? That’s right, What about Dave? You are now clear to quadruple my salary because my last name is Blockchain. I know this is all fun and games until someone gets hurt so here’s real advice. If you believe in crypto, buy some crypto, add crypto stock exposure, and become a HODLER. Not a holder, a HODLER. If you think it’s a scam, take a few bucks and short it if you dare. But sitting on the sidelines and yelling back and forth at each other is like not voting then taking politics all day. Also, remember at this stage it’s speculative. So don’t go pouring in your avocado toast money or putting it on credit cards. The bulls think bitcoin goes to a million, the bears think it’s worthless. I suspect the truth is somewhere in-between. Every time you share this video, one of the four billion people on Earth with a cellphone and no bank account gets connected to the world economy. Subscribe to the YouTube channel, twitter @bartosiastics and come back for all the Trending Stocks with Zacks.com, I’m Dave Bartosiak.

How to Buy Bitcoin in Singapore | Part 1 - Selecting bitcoin exchange

15:04
Update 11 Jan 2019 : FYBSG no longer available. I m currently using this https://www.coinhako.com/affiliations/sign_up/108402_49480712 They have slightly higher fee than fybsg, use promo code to lower the trading fee (0.8%)- COINGECKO Note you can't set limit buy/sell on coinhako, only market order. Private service to buy bitcoin or altcoin like ethereum, bitcoin cash, ripple, litecoin, neo, eos etc ($10,000 SGD value and above), please message me on fb : ► https://www.facebook.com/1percentbettertoday/ 1. Finding Exchange – BTC/SGD 2. Create Account and Verification - Coinbase : - FYB-SG : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCE-zfY-D-A 3. Funding the account - Coinbase : - FYB-SG : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgYh3NkCWbc 4. Buying bitcoin from the exchange - Coinbase : - FYB-SG : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4wFx-HVW-M 5. Selling bitcoin on the exchange - Coinbase : - FYB-SG : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBKyiGMdWxI 6. Withdraw (cashout) cash out from exchange - Coinbase : - FYB-SG : 7. Withdraw/transfter bitcoin from exchange (wallet transfer to another btc address) - Coinbase : - FYB-SG : Here's a list of the bitcoin exchange that you can buy with SGD : 1) Coinbase 2) FYB-SG 3) Coinhako (0.9%fee) 4) Quoine (very poor customer service + need TT to japan) 5) Bitfinex Their verification process varies and exchange fee/charges varies too. We will be looking at 3 criteria : 1. Fee (when buying and selling) 2. Funding options, duration, any fee 3. Withdraw options, duration, any fee Coinbase : My first bitcoin purchase was with coinbase, pretty easy on the verification. Just take some ID photos and upload and wait about 5 to 10 minutes for the system to approve. Layout and interface to buy is simple and easy. Funding : on coinbase website it says only credit card for Singapore and there will be a processing fee of 3.99% + transaction fee of 1.5% each side (buy/sell) oh btw if you buy USD$100 worth of bitcoin or more using my referral code from coinbase - https://www.coinbase.com/join/59c06433b4bdb401323f20d2 (we both get USD$10 bonus from coinbase, you can use this $10 to offset the fee ! ) There's actually a 'hidden' method not so direct to get lower fee using xfer. Coinbase is the 2nd largest exchange in term of bitcoin transaction volume. So the spread will be closer and filled faster. Downside : - There's a weekly buying limit of SGD$3000 for funding via xfer - There's a weekly buying limit of SGD$200 for funding via credit card, after about 1 month, the buying limit will increase to SGD$500. Coinbase lack the option to do limit buy and sell (means setting a buy order and execute when bitcoin price come down and hit your target buy price or setting a sell order and execute when bitcoin price hit your target sell price. ) even when you're not looking , busy with real life stuffs. You can only do current market order buying/selling at the current price offered by coinbase. Coinbase have another platform GDAX which offer a much much competitive fee 0.25% but BTC/SGD pair is not available to Singapore yet. FYB-SG I did more research and choose lowest exchange fee if not one of the lowest, FYB-SG. Note : Their exchange fee for small amount is 0.3% and for larger amount it may scale up to 0.6% i.e. Buying SGD100 worth of bitcoin, you will pay $0.30 funding with them is fast too(about 1 day or less, once i fund at around 12am and deposit confirmation arrived at 1am). They are prompt to email response too. No buying limited on FYB-SG though, if you looking at higher purchase. I saw before orders of 8.5 btc on buyer side which is more than SGD 100k that time. Withdrawal to local SG banks, there's a $2 fee and takes about 1-3 working days FYB-SG provide you the option to do limit buy and sell (means setting a buy order and execute when bitcoin price come down and hit your target buy price or setting a sell order and execute when bitcoin price hit your target sell price. ) even when you're not looking , busy with real life stuffs. downside : - Spread are pretty wide sometimes | price are higher(good for seller side) if you take oversea exchange price like coinbase / bitfinex price and apply USD/SGD fx rate to compare. Thus if you can wait go for limit order with the price you want to buy. - Trade interface, need to do calculation to buy the amount of bitcoin you want. - Transfer bitcoin out to another wallet, fee is pretty high for small amount transfer. currently fee at 0.001 btc (abt sgd $23 as of 13 dec 2017 price pretty ex for small amt trf) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer : This is not financial advice, it's all based on my personal biased opinion. Do your own research and put in the amount you can afford to lose.

Unlike many other cryptocurrencies out there, Capricoin has fast transaction confirmation times and can handle commercial level transaction volumes.
