The ONLY Vanguard ETF You Need (Best Index Fund 2019) 🏆

🔴 *VIP Membership Group* 🔴 View my portfolio & every single trade I make! Join now ► https://goo.gl/SnYxc3 The Vanguard ETF VOO Index Fund is the Best ETF in 2019 - hands down. Vanguard has opened a new avenue for investors to get involved with the stock market, with relatively minimal risk through diversification but gives you the opportunity to earn 7-10% annually on your money. 🔴 *VIP Membership Group - * 🔴 View my portfolio & every single trade I make! Join now ► https://goo.gl/SnYxc3 Traditionally, if you wanted to invest in the broader market like the S&P 500, you would have to invest in a Mutual Fund. However mutual funds have a lot of negatives and issues. They are a clunky product and difficult to follow and understand, they are not easy to buy or sell, and worst of all - they charge large management fees - usually in the range of 1% to 3%. Typically for a Mutual Fund, you work with a financial adviser to pick out "the best fund for you" - but in reality, you're picking out the best fund for them as they get a commission depending on what fund you end up making an investment in. Those high management fees are fees that they get a cut out of - so they will almost always push mutual fund products onto you even if it isn't the best investment for you. What I also don't like about Mutual Funds like I mentioned, is that when you want to buy it, it usually takes a day or two to process. Same with selling it - and in this day and age - there's no reason to go down that route at all! This is where ETF's come in to save the day - specifically VOO. ETF's provide you the same exposure (or better) than a mutual fund can, but offer much less management fees - saving you hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands over your investment career. ETF's are able to be traded just like stocks - you can buy and sell them at any time that the market is open, and you instantly have exposure to the ETF. This ETF we're talking about today, VOO ETF, is one that Vanguard offers and is one that I believe is the best ETF for any investor because the management fee is 0.04%, it has enough liquidity that you can buy/sell at any time, and it's a simple product that tracks the S&P 500. If you believe the top 500 companies in the US will succeed and grow even bigger over the long term, there's no better investment on that bet than to go with VOO. Now, VTI has also come as a close runner up to this - which is another ETF offered by Vanguard. VTI encompasses the total market, and gives you exposure to something like 2000 stocks - including small caps, medium caps, and large cap stocks. If you feel that the exposure to the S&P 500 isn't enough, and you want exposure to all companies in the US that are publicly traded, the Vanguard VTI ETF is the way to go - as this also only offers a management fee of 0.04% - absolutely amazing. I hope this clears things up on why ETF's are a better investment tool than Mutual Funds, and I hope this video helps save you even $1 - because that is my goal here - to save you money! I also have a very interesting story to share of a recent visit that I had with my local bank and financial adviser. What's the best-performing ETF?

03:46
Be careful buying an ETF based on its past performance, because the future could be as unpredictable as the weather. Instead, consider integrating ETFs into a diversified portfolio, keeping in mind that asset allocation is the top driver of a portfolio's performance. Find a balance of stock and bond ETFs that's right for you, and spread your money across U.S. and international ETFs to diversify even more. Then look for low-cost ETFs so you're not giving up performance to high expense ratios. Important information **You must buy and sell Vanguard ETF Shares through Vanguard Brokerage Services (we offer them commission-free) or through another broker (which may charge commissions). See the Vanguard Brokerage Services commission and fee schedules at https://vgi.vg/2HJm1xu for limits. Vanguard ETF Shares are not redeemable directly with the issuing fund other than in very large aggregations worth millions of dollars. ETFs are subject to market volatility. When buying or selling an ETF, you will pay or receive the current market price, which may be more or less than net asset value.** All investing is subject to risk, including the possible loss of the money you invest. Diversification does not ensure a profit or protect against a loss. Fluctuations in the financial markets and other factors may cause declines in the value of your account. There is no guarantee that any particular asset allocation or mix of funds will meet your investment objectives or provide you with a given level of income. Investments in securities issued by non-U.S. companies are subject to risks including country/regional risk and currency risk. These risks can be especially high in emerging markets. Sector ETFs are subject to sector risks and nondiversification risks, which may result in performance fluctuations that are more extreme than fluctuations in the overall stock market. Bond ETFs are subject to interest rate, inflation, and credit risk. © 2018 The Vanguard Group, Inc. All rights reserved. Vanguard Marketing Corporation, Distributor of the Vanguard Funds.

How to Perform Serious Sector Analysis Using ETFs

07:20
In today's video, I'll be examining nine different sectors of the economy and analyzing their trends using SPDR ETFs. Out of the nine different sectors, I'll be looking at three of these sectors with strong uptrends, while the remaining six sectors are in a transition stage. I will, of course, be applying the Trade Triangle technology to each of these nine sectors so you can clearly see how to put each of these sectors to work you. Creating an ETF sector portfolio is easy and is not as difficult as you may imagine. The first thing you need to do is create a separate portfolio in your Portfolio Manager and enter these nine ETF symbols. Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (PACF:XLE) Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (PACF:XLF) Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (PACF:XLV) Industrial Select Sector SPDR ETF (PACF:XLI) Materials Select Sector SPDR ETF (PACF:XLB) Consumer Discretionary Sector SPDR ETF (PACF:XLY) Consumers Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (PACF:XLP) Tech Select Sector SPDR ETF (PACF:XLK) Utility Select Sector SPDR ETF (PACF:XLU) Once you get all these symbols into your portfolio, you can name it, "Sector ETF Portfolio" or any other name you choose. There are advantages and disadvantages using ETFs, take for example XLK in the Tech sector. The advantage is that you have an ETF that invests in a broad spectrum of tech stocks. This gives you a way to invest without having to invest in each of the individual stocks contained in the ETF. The disadvantage is that an ETF is not going to perform as well as the individual stock. Because of its diversified structure, an ETF will only reflect the general trend of a sector.

When to Buy Etfs OVER Stocks (6 Times When Investing In Etfs Is Better Than Picking Stocks)

09:45
When To Purchase Etfs vs Stocks. When to Buy ETFS vs Stocks (6 Times When Investing In Etfs Is Better Than Picking Stocks) By the end of this video you will have much better idea of when invest in etfs (Exchange traded funds) versus selecting individual stocks. Let’s begin 1. When the sector has a narrow dispersion of returns. Sectors that have a narrow dispersion of returns from the mean do not offer stock pickers an advantage when trying to generate market-beating returns. For example lets assume there are 100 companies in the utility sector and most of them provide an annual rate of return of 4%, because the performance of all companies in these sectors tends to be similar. This is usually true for consumer staple investments as well. Its kind of like trying to choose which McDonalds to go to. No matter which one you choose the hamburger is basically going to taste the same. Since the dispersion of returns from these kind of investments tends to be narrow or similar; picking individual stock does not offer sufficiently higher return for the risk so purchasing a utility etf or index fund might make the most sense in this example. . 2. When you want to invest in a particular market sector or industry, but you have limited knowledge of that sector or industry For example, if you believe that now is a good time to invest in the mining sector, you may want to gain specific industry exposure. However, you are concerned that some stocks might encounter political problems harming their production. In this case, it is prudent to buy into the sector rather than a specific stock, since it reduces your risk. You can still benefit from growth in the overall sector, especially if it outperforms the overall market. 3. When the performance drivers of a company are difficult to understand. These companies may possess complicated technology or processes that cause them to underperform or do well. Perhaps performance depends on the successful development and sale of a new unproven technology. You find it difficult to understand the company or industry. Chipper told me a pharmaceutical company was going to do well, but I don’t understand how they operate, and there are so many of them to choose from. Which one do I pick? Unlike in the first example where the dispersion of investment returns were narrow, the desperation of returns in this case are wide so may even more challenging to pick the winning stocks in the industry. The biotechnology industry is a good example, as many of these companies depend on the successful development and sale of a new drug. If the development of the new drug does not meet expectations in the series of trials, or the FDA does not approve the drug application, the company faces a bleak future. On the other hand, if the FDA approves the drug, investors in the company can be highly rewarded. 4. When you want instant diversification ETFs provide instant diversification relative to individual stocks. It would be challenging to have a properly diversified portfolio with 10 individual stocks, but relatively simple with the same number of ETFs. (To learn more, see 10 Ways ETFs Can Grow Your Portfolio.) 5. Invest In Hard-to-access Markets Owning gold is a pain for most individual investors; owning SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE:GLD) (which owns gold bullion) is simple. Not only does this ETF bypass the bid-ask spreads of retail gold and the expense of rolling over futures contracts, but it has no storage or security requirements. Likewise, investors can access commodities like copper, precious metals, timberland and so on through the convenient forms of ETFs. (For more, check out Commodities: The Portfolio Hedge.) 6. Less time consuming way to invest The iShares US Medical Devices ETF (NYSE:IHI) contains 40 different stocks. It would take weeks for an individual investor to do proper due diligence on each of those names, and that is one of the advantages of ETF investing. Why should I spend all my time trying to sit here and pick individual stocks? I need to get my sorceress in Diablo 2 to level 99! Because the impact and importance of any one stock is relatively small, investors can spend their time thinking about which sectors and markets are poised to perform and make investment choices without being bogged down by an overwhelming amount of initial and ongoing due diligence. Chuck Hughes: Trading the Strongest Market Sectors

21:32
In this video the Hughes Optioneering Team will explore a simple strategy for trading the strongest market sectors. Purchasing ETFs allows us to trade a basket of stocks in a market sector. For example, we own the Internet ETF. The largest holdings in this ETF are listed below. Internet ETF Top Holdings Name Symbol % Assets Amazon.com Inc AMZN 9.67% Facebook Inc A FB 8.34% Netflix Inc NFLX 6.11% PayPal Holdings Inc PYPL 4.86% Salesforce.com Inc CRM 4.81% Alphabet Inc C GOOG 4.67% Alphabet Inc A GOOGL 4.64% eBay Inc EBAY 3.06% Twitter Inc TWTR 2.79% E*TRADE Financial Corp ETFC 2.75% This list of stocks contains some of the best performing stocks over the past several years. Learn out to quickly and easily identify strong market sectors like the Internet ETF. Trading ETFs reduces the risk of owning individual stocks as a sharp decline in an individual stock can still result in profit for its related ETF. The strongest market sectors change over time but there is always a bull market somewhere. Our simple indicator allows us to identify strong market sectors with good profit potential.

The problem is in the huge weighting of tech stocks and other sectors in a broad market index fund. This puts you at risk in a stock market crash because it’s precisely these sectors that get hit the hardest. A Simple Sector ETF Rotation Strategy That Beats The Market

17:40
VIEW SHOW NOTES ONLINE... http://ftmdaily.com/ftm-radio-show/a-simple-sector-etf-rotation-strategy-that-beats-the-market/ This is an excerpt from the Follow the Money Weekly podcast hosted each week by economist and author, Jerry Robinson. ++++++++++++ A few years ago, I stumbled across an interesting white paper entitled Relative Strength Strategies for Investing written by Meb Faber of Cambria Investment Management. The paper demonstrated a powerful (but simple) investment strategy that outperformed the typical “buy-and-hold” strategy nearly 70% of the time. Faber’s research, which was based upon 80+ years of stock market data, revealed an astoundingly simple way to beat the market. Put simply, the strategy involves buying sector-based ETFs that have recently outperformed their peers. Instead of simply buying an S&P 500 index fund, like SPY, this strategy shows how to beat the return of the S&P by investing in the underlying sectors displaying the most relative strength. ++++++++++++ LINK: http://ftmdaily.com/ftm-radio-show/a-simple-sector-etf-rotation-strategy-that-beats-the-market/ FTMDAILY.COM Website ► http://FTMDaily.com Like us on Facebook ►http://facebook.com/ftmdaily Follow us on Twitter ►http://twitter.com/ftmdaily Google Plus ►https://plus.google.com/+FTMDaily/ This video was posted with permission from http://FTMDaily.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINANCE AND LIBERTY: SUBSCRIBE (It's FREE!) for more ►http://bit.ly/Subscription-Link Website ►http://FinanceAndLiberty.com Like us on Facebook ►http://fb.com/FinanceAndLiberty Follow us on Twitter ►http://twitter.com/Finance_Liberty Google Plus ►http://Gplus.to/FinanceLiberty

Why You Can Beat the Market More Easily Trading Sector ETFs

19:10
This year’s rise and fall of the Gold Miners ETF (GDX) should catch every trader’s attention who would like to profit from big trends without having to be an active trader. This is because, when very few areas of the stock market were working earlier in the year, GDX provided a big trade. Gold’s mining stocks ETF (GDX) has been one of the hottest sector ETFs for much of 2016, but all good things eventually come to an end. Fortunately, when one sector falters, there are usually others that will take over as the trend to follow! Yesterday GDX suffered its biggest one day drop in well over a year, and its volume exploded to its highest level ever. So now what? In this latest Trades and Tutorials video I’ll show you the GDX trend from a different perspective, and you’ll discover that new market leaders had already emerged before this week’s collapse in GDX. Tap here to see how you can figure out where the next big trend like GDX’s will come from. Go to: http://www.marketgauge.com/etfmodels/ It may even be GDX! But I suspect that will take a little time to develop.

Stock Market Sectors Performance

https://theotrade.com How are the difference stock market sectors performing with the SPX rising to its highest level since the first week of the year? The SPX is in a make or break area. This level has failed twice already and now the SPX could either make it's way to 2000 or fail a third time. Let's look at the sectors of the stock market using the ETFs. An ETF is a basket of stocks and looking at sector ETFs will give us a great gage of the market. Dividend Fund Showdown! (ETF vs. ETF)

08:42
#Dividends #Dividendstocks Dividend Fund Showdown! In this video I discuss two dividend exchange traded funds or "ETFs" from two different fund companies. We'll look at total return, expense ratio, yield, volatility, sector weightings, and much more. THE VALUE LINE® DIVIDEND INDEX METHODOLOGY The Value Line® Dividend Index is an equal-dollar weighted index comprised of U.S. exchange-listed securities. The index methodology is focused on quality companies that have an above-average dividend yield. Value Line tracks 1700 stocks from 100 industries. Registered investment companies, limited partnerships and foreign securities not listed in the U.S. are excluded. The universe is screened to eliminate any stock that fails to achieve a 1 or 2 rank by Value Line’s “Safety” ranking system on a scale of 1 (highest score) to 5 (lowest score). Included in Value Line’s proprietary Safety ranking system is an evaluation of a stock’s volatility over the previous five years, as well as its “Financial Strength” rating, which is Value Line’s measure of a company’s financial condition. Financial strength is determined by a variety of factors including a company’s debt to capital ratio, amount of cash on hand, level and consistency of sales and profits, returns on capital, as well as a company’s position and performance within an industry. Select stocks with an indicated dividend yield greater than that of the Standard & Poor’s 500 Composite Stock Price Index and a market cap of $1 billion or more. The index is equally weighted to eliminate single stock risk and the process is repeated monthly. - Ftportfolios.com Buy dividend stocks commission free and receive a cash bonus: https://mbsy.co/qgvmm Connect with me on Instagram: @kennyrrobinson Mailing Address: P.O.
