Did you know the first computer mouse looked like a wooden box with pizza cutters attached to it? How did we get from that to the laser-based RGB mice we know and love today?

Hey Linus, Xerox was one of the first to use optical mice as well. Their DocuTech 135 in the 1990's had an optical mouse with three emitter/sensor pairs arranged in a triangle, inside a half-sphere well under the mouse. These tracked a pattern of dots on the bespoke red and black mouse pad made for the DocuTech. It also wouldn't work on normal surfaces (I tried).
Anyhow, just thought I'd mention that bit of nostalgia.
Remind me of my first computer which I learned basic on it. A Novell 286 system, with monochrome orange and black screen display, a 3 button mouse exclusively for autocad which was a revolution, and the hard drives were noisy and slow because it wasn’t solid memory, neither was discs, it was a module with magnetic band ribbons in it. This was my best computer ever. Even my Ryzen with rtx graphics and full rgb isn’t as great 🙄 #nostalgic
Ok...ur ready...call any competing US network and tell (sell) them u have an idea similar to "The Daily Show"...play up a neutral Cdn persona and keep ur channel until the pilot is approved...sign a $20M deal with a further 4 year option and don't look back...then license ur channel and make guest appearances to promote specific tech products while continuing to balance the channels objectivity...so start looking for ur potential replacement and remember..."Hard work without talent is a shame, but talent without hard work is a tragedy"...something it appears you have already figured out...good luck.
That first mouse from Microsoft the Microsoft intellimouse was like $50 or something like that, the $70 Microsoft intellimouse had a totally different shape same color scheme totally different shape and I remember this vividly because my friend Brian spent the 70 on the funky looking mouse well I spent 50 on the more traditional mouse and I never regretted it to be honest because it had enough buttons it felt good precise and overall the good mouse...
God I miss the ball mouse! The feeling of using it. Removing and playing with it like some kind of bouncy ball. The dirt and hair sticking to it, while hearing the Windows XP startup sound. Aaaaaahhhh! The nostalgia is killing me!
This seems to be because of missing libraries on Ubuntu 17.10 and higher, also impacts other Ubuntu flavours.
Your antivirus most likely removed the miner before you could exclude the folder from being scanned. If you followed the antivirus guides in the initial setup you can simply extract the miner again, replacing the current files, and run the GUI miner again.
If you built your own version of xmr-stak or xmrig you need to rename the binaries to xtl-stak and xtlrig respectively.
We currently only list pools we have tested in the miner. You are free to change the config for xmrig and xmr-stak to rather use a pool you want. You can track the progress on this feature here.
