+Voz Épica | Is there a way to adjust DPI or pointer speed from the mouse (like with sensitivity buttons in gaming mouses)? So the pointer moves slower or faster depending of my needs (i.e. Photoshop, regular-sniper mode, etc). Thank you!
I have an Anywhere MX 2 because I have somewhat small hands. I don't think an MX Master would fit well with me, but I've been using the Anywhere MX 2 for about a year now and I love the hell out of this thing. I'll probably upgrade it to a 2S when it finally dies, but until then, I'm using this mouse for everything.
EposVox there are story games where you need a good mouse too like spec ops the line, the bureau xcom declassified and fear 3. Im just going to say straight that your gaming channel is just not too good imo just because of the games you play and the things you talk about. Gaming videos should not be about explaining different things.
I think you're confusing "not having the time to wait until we get really great matches and take the time to cut those parts out of gameplay while making a gadget review" with "not playing games." Common misconception and honestly really obnoxious. Great gameplay is what a gaming channel or live stream is for. I post lots of decent-ish gameplay over at http://youtube.com/eposvoxgaming but at the time of this review I simply needed to grab a quick match of footage and move on.
1. I primarily play PC games, but I was showcasing games I don't play often just because that's what people are looking for. A common thing. CSGO isn't really my thing.
This isn't a "hey look at my high skilled gameplay" video - I have a gaming channel for that. This is a discussion about the input lag/accuracy of a wireless mouse for gaming.
2. "Story games" aren't where you test/care about how accurate/usable a mouse is. That's not a good test scenario. Those have no relevance to this video.
EposVox well lets see number 1. Aim is all over the place so im thinking a console player and those shouldnt be reviewing keyboards and mouses. Number 2. No story games displayed always somekind of fps/tps.
My question is, if i want the best accuracy in game (im playing fortnite and black ops3 mainly) what should i set it to in windows and in the logitech options software, and what about the sensitivity in game?
i know this is a relatively old comment but could you elaborate on that a bit? i'm thinking about getting an mx master 2s as my daily mouse and i was wondering if the sensor is good enough for competitive gaming at all, apart from the heavy weight. I'm currently using a g403 wireless and it's been fine but the scroll wheel has been acting up so i'd like to get something to replace it
For that you just go to keybindings in your game, find the one you wish to rebind and hit the button. (The actual rebinding process is different per-game, but you don't need to do anything special. It's treated as a dedicated button.)
You can see I did it in Diablo 3 here, "Back" shows up as "Mouse 4" - http://imgur.com/aWRNc9j
This will sound dumb, but does your mouse wheel clicks? - as in third button (middle button)
I just received my MX and it can't be clicked.. which is weird
I can't find anyone who talks about it.. so either I'm confused af, or something is wrong with mine.. (and you can bind it to action according to the program, but it doesn't do anything)
If I will get the new MacBook Pro with only USB C and I will use it for gaming and creative works, should I get Logitech MX Master/M720/G900/G602? Will it be inconvenient if I get the gaming mouse G900/G602 which requires type A USB receiver? Thanks!
I think M720, MX master or MX Anywhere 2 will be fine, the G900/G602 have a lot of buttons and if you don't need it I think the other mices are better options(if you need that buttons I thin the G900 is a great mouse), also if you want a gaming mouse without a lot of buttons, other option by Logitech is the G403 wireless that have the same wireless technology of the G900.
does the receiver that is shipped with it work well? My pc is underneith my desk and I'd rather plug it into the back as opposed to plugging it into the front. Would that work reliably, or is there a chance of the connection being lost?
There's a chance of the connection being lost. I have to run a USB extension cable up closer to my mouse area.
BUT I have the 1st run of this mouse and I've heard they've improved connection issues with newer ones and added new colors. So IDK :/
Would MX Master be good for League of Legends? I have MX Performance currently but I never had a gaming mouse so I don't know if the latency would improve a lot. LOL is not a fps shooter so I'm not sure if a high budget gaming mouse would outperform the mx master in that case...
Cool to see your opinions on this mouse personally I use the razer deathadder and before that the microsoft intellimouse though that was before I really got into PC gaming fully. I've been looking for an alternative mouse that suits my Hand size that isn't the razer deathadder I've already have one die completely though the 2014 edition I have now hasn't shown any issues yet. I'd just be interested to see a video about mice for those with bigger hands and perhaps vice versa for those with smaller hands :D Since it's hard to look at a mouse and figure out if it'd be suitable or not. The only reason I picked the deathadder is because of the many reviews that compared it to being just like the intellimouse xD Cool video though keep it up :D
This seems to be because of missing libraries on Ubuntu 17.10 and higher, also impacts other Ubuntu flavours.
Your antivirus most likely removed the miner before you could exclude the folder from being scanned. If you followed the antivirus guides in the initial setup you can simply extract the miner again, replacing the current files, and run the GUI miner again.
If you built your own version of xmr-stak or xmrig you need to rename the binaries to xtl-stak and xtlrig respectively.
We currently only list pools we have tested in the miner. You are free to change the config for xmrig and xmr-stak to rather use a pool you want. You can track the progress on this feature here.
