fallout 76 base building / fallout 76 base design, today i thought id bring you a simple fallout 76 base building idea which uses the fallout 76 camp to make a fallout 76 shop. this came about as a lot of people have mentioned the lack of fallout 76 npc in the game so i thought why not make a simple shop and take the place of the npc to trade fallout 76 blueprints and other items. this is my first concept but i will make a more in depth shop when fallout 76 launches
Fallout 76 beta is now live on Xbox one and i have been testing the fallout 76 base building and put this simple fallout 76 base building guide together to get you started. this covers the basic fallout 76 base building as i still need to progress my player to get all the BP's to upgrade my fallout 76 base. as i progress in fallout 76 i will try to post more fallout 76 guides and tutorials to help you along the way and share the mistake i make along with the cool things i find. ideally i want to make some fallout 76 trap bases and just overall fallout 76 base design tutorials. you can play fallout 76 beta now on Xbox with fallout 76 coming to ps4 and PC soon so join us on the wasteland. i will also try to get some fallout 76 tips and tricks videos done as well.
fallout 76 beta times are posted each day via the Fallout social media so make sure you keep up to date with them so you can get on early.

Fallout 76 is the first time you’ll be able to explore the Wasteland with other players and as such, some systems have been adapted to suit this exciting new adventure. If you’re excited for Fallout 76, chances are you’ve spent quite a bit of time in Fallout 4, exploring the Commonwealth, establishing your settlements and just trying to survive in a harsh, post-nuclear world. You’ll still have all those options when you hop into Fallout 76, but you may notice a few things are a little different. #fallout76 #fallout76bases fallout76basebuilding
I've been doing the same thing bud. I've mostly waited outside the vault for the beginners. Giving them built level 1 armor and weapons and some ammo. And it seems word does get around in the server when people do communicate. I've had people show up at my place to trade and buy loot.
my hype was really high when bethesda told that we could build bases like fallout 4, but now im just so dissapointed. The max space to build lets you build a small shack and few turrets and nothing more...
I'm gonna build as near to vault 76 as possible, to give newbies some free gear and, the vault usually has a lot of people around it, high level players are usually around it as well, so I guess it's good for profit as well
if u put your shop near vault 76, tell people you meet about it, and just fast travel to your CAMP when you see people near on the map, i think you might actually get some business
also, just get like a 10 cap bounty and wait for people to come looking for you. then offer trade when they find you lol
This is what they want us to do. They want us to roleplay together and BE the world. Problem is that not everyone is going to "play the right way" they don't have to roleplay, but it's definitely an option and encouraged. Not everyone will though. I'm sure it'll be a bigger thing once private servers come online
If your going to be playing on Xbox may I suggest you create or join a club that deals with F76 trading. There are already a few out there, I checked today. And it will make it easier to sell rare items you find in the world if hundreds of other playing are aware.
Looking forward to Tuesday night, I think I may create a new character, go solo and just take my time listening to holotapes and reading terminals/notes.
I just don't see how being a vendor will work in this game especially a stationary vendor. I have tried roaming and trading with people many times throughout the BETA and no one was interested. I even tried to give away 400 wood/steel and some various ammunition for 0 CAPS and no one accepted it don't know why maybe they just didn't want to be interupted. I see a stationary base setup for being a vendor abit inconsistent. Firstly how will random players on the server know of your stores existence it's not like there is anyway to advertise or let players know "hey come to X place and trade your items" and the chances of players passing by at that specific place who actually NEED/WANT to trade is unlikely. Secondly wouldn't you have to stay at your stores location like the majority of the time just I case someone comes by to trade with you. This would mean your not actually able to play the game but just standing around waiting all the time (kind of like actual real life work!!) The only way I can see a stationary vendor working is if you can build a vending machine at your CAMP and then put CAPS the machine for players to sell you their items and put items in to the machine for players to buy from you. This way you can go away do quests explore gather new items to sell ect and then go back later to collect you CAPS or restock your vending machine. Other than this the only other way to trade right now in a consistent way is through your actual friends or players you meet during your playtime and join up with ect. I feel that BETHESDA could really make something out of this whole trading system if they just added a few features like a CAMP vendor machine or a community store/market place like there is in ESO or in FINAL FANTASY ONLINE. If they do nothing then they are missing an opportunity because this one change/addition could really give players something extra to do and work towards (high end trader). I remember in ESO i spent so many hours just crafting or farming weapons and armor to sell and I enjoyed it loads!
If you’re on ps4 and getting 76, add me snipermdd60, I’ll be building a base near vault 76 to help new players get started and get a bunch of people together so me and my friends will always have people to squad with
Some issues with the "be an NPC" idea....
-only 25ish players on the server at a time
-you have to be online for your camp to be online. If someone is in your spot when you log on your camp gets packed up
-no server chat to let people know what you have or that you are even there.
The odds of someone wondering into your area and then also wanting something you have are slim with the small amount of players on the server.
I'm 100% planning on becoming a fixed merchant.. my only concern is that you can only service the people in your specific server (and the currently super broken camp blueprint system but that should be fixed).
+FraznoFire how so? I don't see any quests, missions or storylines in rust. Fallout has always been The same however now you can play it online just the same as they done with Skyrim. So with that in mind seeing as fallout has been around alot longer that rust that must mean that rust is a fallout clone............
+Twisited Yes, just in thinking about building up an inventory to have consistent supplies for anyone who wants to operate as a merchant regularly. At present, as you note -- it's fine for trading rare items but I'm thinking long-term.
This seems to be because of missing libraries on Ubuntu 17.10 and higher, also impacts other Ubuntu flavours.
Your antivirus most likely removed the miner before you could exclude the folder from being scanned. If you followed the antivirus guides in the initial setup you can simply extract the miner again, replacing the current files, and run the GUI miner again.
If you built your own version of xmr-stak or xmrig you need to rename the binaries to xtl-stak and xtlrig respectively.
We currently only list pools we have tested in the miner. You are free to change the config for xmrig and xmr-stak to rather use a pool you want. You can track the progress on this feature here.
