Logitech MX Master 2S is the BEST and only kick ass Wireless dongle/Bluetooth mouse for Mac & Windows desktops! Microsoft Arch/Touch Mouse is the BEST for Mac and Windows laptops! I bought the MX Master 2S White color version for my Hackintosh! Perfect mouse!!!
Don't buy the original MX Master guys. Just don't! Got not one, but two of those. both have problems connecting with my Macs via bluetooth, and using the dongle is not an option at that price. I always have to turn the mouse off and on again so that it can reconnect, or worse, sometimes I even have to plug the usb cable in and out! It's a known issue that plagues so many user all over the internet. So annoying, and soooo dumb for a mouse that cost me 90€. I hope they fixed those deal breaker issues with the 2Ss, and I would certainly want to hear a Youtuber talk about it in detail and not just blindly praise it.
If they added gestures to a thumbpad it would be a win, this way... just a giant mouse with unneccessary side scroll (the anywhere single scroll approach worked just fine for years) and one extra button (thumbpad).
The MX Master is just a pile of poop, it's side Buttons are the worst i have every seen. Their positioning is nuts, way to much back and to close together, then they are placed above/below each other *facepalm*. I bought both and i immediately returned the Master, no matter if you are a Gamer, Artist, working with 3D or CAD etc. the MX Master is just a mess. The only negative thing about the MX Anywhere is it's small size, i wish it would be just a little bit bigger. Anyway i just wanted to say this to prevent People from blind buying it !
The original MX Anywhere apparently had a problem with the internal mechanism under the left-click button breaking, turning it into an expensive paper-weight. I bought two of them (for work and home) and both broke, in the same place, after about 3 months. So, I instead purchased two (original) MX Masters, and they work wonderfully. It's been about a year now, and I think it might be the cause of some joint pain in my hand. I just purchased a MX Anywhere 2S, so I'm hoping Logitech fixed the issue with the previous model.
@Charlie202 so far, yes. All the buttons still work great! I now use the MX Master at work and the MX Anywhere 2S at home...flawless. The joint pain was from other ergonomic issues. With the 2S it's nice to have the recharge cable instead of batteries. Definitely worth the upgrade.
I noticed you have a dark theme on your chrome, you can change youtube to a dark theme too, you have to click your profile pic in the top right-hand corner and click dark theme
hope i colde be of help.
I own both - MX Master 2S started giving me RSI after a couple of months - the Anywhere is way lighter smaller and easier to move around, lets my hand fully rest on table. If you have huge hands maybe the MX Master would be good - for me Anywhere is a way more comfortable size.
Both very good though - go for the size that works for you.
This isn't a gaming mouse specifically - DPI just gives you more precision.
I just bought my Anywhere and its great! Thanks for the comparison against the larger Master. I did stand in the store reading both boxes. I opted for the smaller one. Fits my style without being overly complicated. Thanks! <3
I wanted to love these two new upgrades! I came from a G502 to these and these feel so inaccurate compared to it :( Never go optical then back to laser lol I’ve been ruined. Also, I run my mouse at 5700 dpi and these felt too slow lol I wish the 502 had a side scroll wheel !
Nice review. I have used a MX Anywhere and now MX Anywhere 2 for years. Great mice, especially when working on a glass desk. The ability on the 2 to switch between up to three three unifying receivers is really nice. Too bad the flow software is not up to par. I would buy a new 2s if it was.
Old subscriber here. You are unique because you are really into sports stuff. Everybody feels you love it and it's amazing. Why do you think some mouses are worth stealing your dedicated time from reviewing sportswear? It's a smash to subscribers' faces when you are doing reviews like this. I think you should leave mouses to linus, marques or hilsenteger...
This seems to be because of missing libraries on Ubuntu 17.10 and higher, also impacts other Ubuntu flavours.
Your antivirus most likely removed the miner before you could exclude the folder from being scanned. If you followed the antivirus guides in the initial setup you can simply extract the miner again, replacing the current files, and run the GUI miner again.
If you built your own version of xmr-stak or xmrig you need to rename the binaries to xtl-stak and xtlrig respectively.
We currently only list pools we have tested in the miner. You are free to change the config for xmrig and xmr-stak to rather use a pool you want. You can track the progress on this feature here.
