Worlds Best Mouse - Logi MX Master 2S, Logi MX Ergo

175 ratings | 24475 views
These are the BEASTS of the computer mouse world. In this video i unbox and review the Logitech MX Master 2S and the Logitech MX Ergo. Honestly, these mice are great. I have been using the first MX Master for a while, it has been amazing. I am very happy that LG fixed the only issue with it, the connectivity. The MX Ergo is also an amazing mouse, it really will help those who are looking for a more ergonomic solution to their computer setup. It's comfortable, precise and easy to use. I recommend either of these. Once you start using a trackball for a while you'll never go back. My first was Trackman trackball by logitech back in 1998 I believe and I still have it although I have since switched to an updated one I prefer the feel of the old one as there is more surface space for your hand to rest on. I just wish it were bluetooth. Thought about maybe trying the Logi for the extra features.

For your desktop-switching dilemma: ctrl+arrow left/right switches screens on macOS. ctrl+arrow up launches mission control. You'll find that keyboard shortcuts will make your workflow so much faster.

It depends, sometimes you need the precision of a pointer device. Being able to do it quickly with your mouse is definitely beneficial.

But will the scroll click mechanism break as easily as the first MX Master?

yeah you're pretty and all but we'd rather see more of the product

The back ground music is very disturbing. Please, made sound little bit less. Thanks

Ok so I'm having issue with this mouse....everything is connected & all the buttons work except for the wheel......but the finger scroll wheel thingy works jus fine....jus not the track ball itself and I've unpaired & repaired it twice

Are you using it on windows or Mac?

Precision was really the decision point to me. Bought first the Ergo. Did not have any issues or problems getting used to it, actually the movements came pretty naturally to me. But the precision was something that really bothered me . Adjusting sensitivity did not work: there is much of a mechanical issue, thumb + parts friction. End of story, changed to Master 2S...

bro for work in solid works what mouse do you recommend me?
I have the original MX Master. My scroll wheel died after about a year - it no longer switches between infinity scroll and click . I generally like it but it's disappointing that build quality wasn't high enough.

This guy is sooooo fake.

PLEASE cut down the music in the background. It's distracting, it muffles your voice and it's annoying.

Noted! Thanks for the feed back, I appreciate it

what's the magnet attachment for ergo? including the box?

The MX Ergo Plus when paired with a Logitech keyboard will do the motions you want like the mac trackpad. It has another level of button settings. For instance you can press the FN key and Roll the ball to the right in order to snap the Browser window or application window to the right. You can also set it up to get to the Window Management screen to see all windows and desktops available. So far I found it to be the best investment for my wrist and elbow. I haven't gamed with this mouse yet but I can honestly say for productivity it is one of the best ergo mouses I have used.

Have been using an M570 for about 7 years now. Bought an MX master 2S yesterday. I've been feeling discomfort in my wrist and shoulder immediately. Going to return it for a MX Ergo. Way better for people with big hands too imo.

It's ok you're a Mac user. There's no need to mention that. BTW it's 2S not S2, Mr. Dyslexic.
AbuBakr Akram (6 months ago)
He mentions it because the gesture button feature is important to Mac users who are weary about moving due to missed trackpad gestures. He's not trying to rub it in your face, as you seem to be determined to believe.

This is my favorite tech channel right now. Better than unbox therapy in my opinion!

Woah. Thank you? But i must highly disagree with that. He's a legend! But thank you very much! I appreciate it!

I want to see you try some games with the track ball lol

Is most precise than a conventional mouse but you need at least 1 year to master it.

I use a trackball I have since I was 14 (23 now). To be honest i can aim a lot quicker using my thumb than moving my whole entire arm. Always had the issue of dragging my mouse off the pad and i get screwed that way or i gotta pick it up and reset it over and over =___=. With mice in the past I have always had to set the sensitivity its a pain to match the level I want cause sometimes ill want it faster and others slower. But with my trackball i've never ONCE set sensitivity. cons of all trackballs - will cause issues with your thumb. So if you're an avid texter we know we use our thumbs for that plus trackball...it doesn't go well with your appendage

This guy has it down pat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcbREL1Ve10&t=3s (using the older m570)

I use the M720 Triathlon, it has almost the same features as the MX Master except for the side scroll wheel but costs a lot less, I really like it.
Mark Stapf (9 months ago)
I will have to check it out! It looks very similar ....
